"Offering a sustainably run - as well as truly welcoming, family friendly space - is hugely important to us and something I've looked to both encourage and maximise wherever possible. So we're really proud to have received the Soil Association Food for Life Silver Catering Mark, the Fairtrade South West Silver Business Award and the CIWF Good Egg Award in recognition of this. To do this we use as much fresh, sustainable, locally sourced and organic ingredients as possible, as well as home compostable packaging, and are now a member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association too.
"We chose to work with sustainable packaging and label provider Planglow because of their eco offering. I'd used Planglow in previous roles and had regularly seen them at Elior road shows where they'd introduce their latest ranges. The service and products have always been very good and our account manager Sally is brilliant and has come in if ever we've have any problems.
"We introduced Planglow's new Gastro Collection around nine months ago and use the wedges, multi bags, baguette bags and snack cubes for our entire 'grab and go' range. We saw the cubes first and wanted to use them for our impulse items (last minute sweets and other treats at the counter). We liked the dark look and on-pack eco messaging, and found the range to be cheaper than other similar ranges too.
"Gastro works really well with our brand because it's fully compostable so it supports our ethos and accreditations. The client really liked Gastro too for the same reasons and when we complete our current review of the business, we are anticipating that the range has helped to put us in a good place".

The Red River Café , Heartlands
Heartlands is a World Heritage Gateway site in the former mining heart of Cornwall. Situated at Robinson’s shaft near Redruth, the site was an operational tin mine for nearly 400 years until its closure in 1998. Reopening as a free visitor attraction in 2012, the 19 acre site included state of the art exhibitions, climb on sculptures, diverse gardens, playscape, craft studios and the Red River Café. Housed in the former carpenter’s workshop, the 130-cover Red River Café also encompassed four meeting rooms and 170-seat hall that catered for locals and tourists alike. Former hospitality manager James Curnow explained why he chose to work with Planglow.
The French Tarte: Custom Design Packaging
Choosing items from a stock Planglow's range, TFT then opted to have products custom designed by Planglow as well as to further support the brand. So a label, napkin, bio cup, deli paper and bag utilising TFT logo and colours were developed.

The Feel Good Bakery
The Feel Good Bakery is aptly named. While selling a range of fresh made sandwiches from a number of key sites across South London, it’s ‘feel good’ philosophy is being felt much further afield. This is because, for every sandwich sold, The Feel Good Bakery donates a meal to a child living in extreme poverty. Nathan was responsible for sourcing packaging and, having looked at a few companies, was won over by Planglow’s range of plant-based products, as he explained:
