We offer labelling and packaging solutions that won’t cost the earth. The majority of our products are paper-based, while our liners and laminate films (which also form our product windows) are also made from plants. We only work with mills that source raw materials from sustainably managed plantations.

We offer certified compostable packaging products wherever we are able and are currently seeking certification for those that are not. Disposal is work in progress due to the current limitations of the UK's waste infrastructure - something we are campaigning to change through the BBIA. We have an onsite closed-loop solution that does not rely on local waste collection services.  

Back in the early Eighties, programmer John Scott and salesman Phillip Saunders saw a gap in the market for branded labelling products. Phillip retired in 2000, meanwhile John - our much beloved MD - continued to head up the company until his retirement in 2023. Planglow has always been a family business and this ethos remains today with John having passed the baton on to our four directors. In 2016, our 30th year, John said, "I think much of our success can be attributed to our ability to identify and serve new markets helping the business to grow. What’s more, because we value our customers they (like our staff) tend to stick with us and we’ve watched their businesses grow alongside ours". This sentiment very much continues to ring true as we approach our 40th year.
