Chriskitch: Compostable Packaging

Tucked amongst the leafy avenues around Muswell Hill you'll find the immensely popular deli-cafe Chriskitch. Owner and founder Chris(tian) Honor has chefed around the world including a tenure at Gordon Ramsey's former Aubergine restaurant in Chelsea. Honor's cooking style reflects his nomadic lifestyle showcasing a fine blend of world flavours, textures and detail. Whilst investigating potential suppliers back in 2013, Chris discovered Planglow, here's what he thinks of our products and services.

Brand Creation: The Bakehouse Deli

Since opening its doors in 2003, the Baguette House (as it was originally known) has prided itself on offering a fine array of drinks, snacks and mouth-watering made to order sandwiches. But when an influx of coffee shop franchises took away half her business, catering professional and owner, Alex Brittain decided to fight back. Never one to be beaten by the competition, Alex decided a rebrand was in order so she approached us to see how our branding team could help.  

Elior: Consistent, Compliant Allergen Labelling Nationwide

At the start of 2019, leading contract caterer Elior began the roll out of our ground breaking food labelling software to more than 200 of its UK sites. We also developed an additional bespoke programme especially for the company that enables LabelLogic Live to pull data directly from Elior’s menu management software to deliver an instant, accurate, compliant solution for data end to end. Elior's RME product manager, Ian Smith talks as though the process.

Planglow were able to develop an API (coding that enables our programs to communicate with one another) to take our recipe and ingredients data from Fourth and turn this into product labelling. This minimises human interaction with the data taking any human margin for error out of the equation. So, from source to customer, our data flows are sleek, automated and void of human interference.
