Hawkhurst Bread Shed

“It’s all second nature now. I love the fact that it’s simple to use with an easy layout. Many of the supplies we use are already in LabelLogic Live, for instance, tins of sweetcorn. So it’s easy to create new flavours as you don’t have to type all the ingredients. LabelLogic Live highlights the allergens in bold. I also highlight it when we add a new ingredient to our products to make customers aware.”

“Live chat is very helpful. It’s peace of mind - so many businesses provide the labels but don’t offer the support of the live chat. If you forget how to do something, you know this support is available.

“For example, I wanted to create labels for platters and worried I’d have to redo all the labels. I contacted support, and they talked me through how to do it. I set up a new template and copied the information from each sandwich into a new category. It’s so easy as the information on each individual sandwich was already on the system.

“Planglow has had a huge impact on our business, and we'd recommend them to others. The labels are so fast and easy to create, and the packaging is so eye-catching".
Lauren Smith, Manager at The Hawkhurst Bread Shed

Jenkins Bakery Labelling

Award-winning Jenkins Bakery prides itself on delivering the freshest and best quality products. Jenkins has been working with Planglow since the 1980s, and uses our labelling app, LabelLogic Live, to add food information to its sandwich, filled roll and confectionery ranges. When new food labelling legislation - Natasha’s Law - was due to come into effect, Jenkins prepared to achieve compliance with the help of our labelling software. General manager Richard Mynott, shares how:

Food Labelling at Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Our clients, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary’s catering team, are part of a truly forward-thinking, innovative hospital Trust. After the tragic case of Natasha Ednan-Laperpouse, this healthcare catering team made changes before the new legislation, Natasha's Law, had even been proposed.

Natasha's Law has been introduced to better safeguard allergy sufferers. It means that food and drink businesses in England and Northern Ireland will be required to include ingredient labelling on their pre-packaged food and drink offering.

To manage this process, and design and print allergen and nutritional labels effectively, they turned to LabelLogic Live, our food labelling software. Jackie O’Brien, Hotel Services Manager Catering at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary said:

Petroc College: Labelling Peace of Mind

Leading Devon-based college Petroc is one of the first businesses to benefit from our partnership with data specialist Erudus. This means accessing full data sets for every product the college purchases via regional wholesaler Philip Dennis and adding this data to their own food labelling simply using a product code.

Planglow is an award-winning supplier of labelling software, food labels and plant-based catering disposables. Our market-leading food and drink packaging can be disposed of in a bio processor. With sector-specific experience spanning four decades, we can help you to increase the sales of your grab and go products by improving both brand recognition and customer loyalty.
