We stock a whole lot of customisable looks but sometimes our customers want something designed especially for them

We stock a whole lot of customisable looks but sometimes our customers want something designed especially for them. In this post we take a peek at some of the bespoke labels, logos and packaging products we've created over the past eighteen months...

Brief: Label Design

Customer: Sefton Catering Services, Sefton

"We had the label designed to achieve uniformity for our cold food presentation and to present a more professional image. They are used predominantly for all sandwich/bread products, salads, cold pasta pots and some homemade sweet products in all of our high schools and in a few of our larger primary schools"

Sally Davies, marketing manager, Sefton Catering Services.

Brief: 'Victoria Kitchen' Brand & Label Design

Customer: Royal Victoria Hospital, Newcastle

"We use Victoria Kitchen on all products that are made in-house - this helps to build trust with our patients and represents quality, fresh food produced in the RVI Kitchen.

"We wanted to advertise or own menu choices (which are all prepared fresh in-house) and we felt the best way of getting this message across was to create a brand. I had the brand idea in principle but I needed the talent to create it - Planglow quickly understood what I was looking to achieve and produced the graphics to support our vision. We reviewed a choice of names however we kept on returning to Victoria Kitchen because the two simple elements - made up from Royal Victoria Infirmary Kitchen - made sense and works both for us and our stakeholders, it was the perfect choice.

Wayne Reed, catering services manager, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Brief: A J Bell Pie Tray - Bespoke product using existing artwork

Customer: Elior - AJ Bell Stadium, Manchester

"I bought pie production in-house (we make different pies for each match) and I wanted a product that could be used specifically with them rather than the standard napkin that tends to come with pies at other venues. The trays make it easier to eat the pies and also provide a good branding opportunity".

Jason Orton, general manager, AJ Bell Stadium (Elior)

Brief: Label & Cutter Design

Customer: Ritchies Bakery, Keith

"We were asked to make a product for one of our clients which required a bespoke label to fit the packaging, Planglow created and designed a label to suit much to our satisfaction. We chose Planglow for there wide range of labels and labelling software - not to mention the fact we were saving money buying our labels from Planglow when compared to our previous supplier".

Michael Duffus, director, Ritchies Bakery

Planglow offers matching packaging and labelling in five off the shelf brands - plus a whole host of colourful labels designs too - all of which can be customised using our labelling software. If however you'd like something created just for you, we've a team of in-house designers plus our own branding agency too so whatever you need, we've got you covered!
