Joe’s Bakery

“It allows us to share labelling responsibility with other staff and can save on wasted labels. Day to day this means other staff can help and manage their production and printing correctly, it also means easy access to correct allergy information or to change any ingredients.

“[Our account manager] Sally is the best. She takes the time to talk and understand our needs as a business and how she can help. She has worked with our company for many years - including with the previous directors - and is always making sure we are up to date with new products and services, nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s due to her we have always been, what feels like, a little ahead with allergen labelling but the tablet and printer really has made things easier”.

Food Labelling at Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Our clients, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary’s catering team, are part of a truly forward-thinking, innovative hospital Trust. After the tragic case of Natasha Ednan-Laperpouse, this healthcare catering team made changes before the new legislation, Natasha's Law, had even been proposed.

Natasha's Law has been introduced to better safeguard allergy sufferers. It means that food and drink businesses in England and Northern Ireland will be required to include ingredient labelling on their pre-packaged food and drink offering.

To manage this process, and design and print allergen and nutritional labels effectively, they turned to LabelLogic Live, our food labelling software. Jackie O’Brien, Hotel Services Manager Catering at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary said:

Petroc College: Labelling Peace of Mind
